About

Moraine Park Campground sits at about 8,160 feet on the north side of Moraine Park, just inside Rocky Mountain National Park's Beaver Meadows entrance and a short drive from Estes Park on Highway 36. The campground's open meadows and stands of Douglas fir, lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine and occasional Engelmann spruce give you partial shade and easy access to the park's montane and alpine environments; from here you can reach hundreds of miles of trails that include lake walks (Bear Lake, Cub Lake), waterfall routes (Alberta, Ouzel) and longer summit approaches, plus scenic drives such as Trai…

I did not expect washrooms to be that clean. I was very happy to see clean washrooms. I didnt face any problems. Checkin was easy. Everything was good. I really enjoyed my camping.
Udaykumar H ★ 5 · Oct 2025
Best views, would always love to camp at moraine campground, closer to Estes park for quick showers, dining , shopping etc. Loop C has good views of mountains and flush toilets. Loop B also has sites with beautiful views, but needs flush toilets.
Marie K ★ 4 · Oct 2025
Camp grounds were clean and spacious. This site was close to the flush toilets,as well as the meadow thar the elk like to frolic in! The only negative was that the site itself is on a hill, and we had to trek back and forth quite a bit to unload/load the car.
